By accessing or using AdmitOdds ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

AdmitOdds is a college admissions platform that provides:

• AI-powered college admission probability estimates
• Essay feedback and analysis tools
• Activity portfolio optimization
• School list management and recommendations
• Application planning and tracking features

The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze your academic profile and provide personalized insights. These insights are estimates based on historical data and should be used as one of many factors in your college planning process.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

4. Subscription and Billing

AdmitOdds offers both free and paid subscription plans. For paid subscriptions:

• Payment is processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Refunds are provided at our discretion and in accordance with our refund policy
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers

Free trial periods, if offered, convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial unless cancelled.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, algorithms, and software, are owned by AdmitOdds and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (such as essays and profile information). By submitting content, you grant AdmitOdds a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, process, and analyze that content to provide and improve the Service.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is not a replacement for professional college counseling. We strongly recommend consulting with qualified college counselors, teachers, and mentors as part of your college planning process.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADMITODDS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service
• Submit false or misleading information
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
